Los hijos del Arbat
La novela cuenta el destino de Sasha, un joven comunista convencido que, por hacer chistes inoportunos, es condenado a tres años de prisión y destierro. Ribakov narra aquí sus propias experiencias, ya que él también fue condenado en su juventud a la misma pena de tres años. El libro narra el proceso al que fue sometido Sasha, mostrando así el funcionamiento de la justicia soviética; “justicia” que partía de que si alguien había sido encarcelado… el presunto culpable tendría que demostrar de manera convincente su inocencia.
