In the near future, the state of Pernambuco faces the brink of flooding due to extreme climate changes. This news prompts the protagonist on a solitary journey through abandoned roads, finding in the ruins a profound connection to her roots. Dance becomes her sole means of communication as nature reclaims its space. An ancient prophecy comes true: the hinterland turns into the sea. "Where the Sea Meets the Heartland" is a videodance short film that delves into themes of change and identity.
